    One of my friens sufferd of the phisical abuse of her girlfriend for 4 years…she had to have tattoes to cover the scars…

    Thanks for this video. I am a survivor of child abuse which I know is different but i just wanted to highlight your use of the word ’survivor’. For too long I’ve thought of myself as a ‘victim’. Thanks again.

    Domestic Violence or intimate partner violence, is different than most assaults because of the power issue, and yes, the trust and intimacy that existed, and quite often it being a part of an unhealthy cycle between 2 individuals.

    so what makes it “domestic violence” instead of just “violence” (one person punching another)? is it just because you used to date her, or the way it affected you? I wonder since you made it clear it didn’t continue
